Day 2

After a scenic drive through some of Perth’s most exclusive suburbs, you'll head to Fremantle, a historic port city bustling with activity, markets, and shops. Return to Perth via a scenic Swan River boat cruise, offering views of multi-million-pound mansions and parklands.

Perth to Margaret River via Busselton - Approximate Distance: 270 km | 168 miles | Total Driving Time: 3 hours
Pick up your rental vehicle and drive to the beautiful Bunker Bay on the Cape Naturaliste coastline.
Stop in Busselton
Take a break in Busselton and stroll along the iconic, heritage-listed jetty. Built in 1865, the 1.8km jetty even has its own railway! Ride to the end to see vibrant fish, tropical corals, and possibly migrating whales between June and November.
Arrive in Margaret River
The Margaret River region stretches from Busselton to Augusta, the most southerly point in Australia. Despite producing less than 3% of Australia’s wine, over a fifth of the country’s premium wine comes from here.
With stunning beaches, coastal trails, world-class surf breaks, and gourmet cuisine, Margaret River is sure to captivate you.

Today is yours to relax and explore the Margaret River region at your own pace.
Explore the region's vineyards, cellar doors, and craft breweries, or sample local gourmet produce from olive groves to artisanal chocolatiers. Try Marron, a local shellfish native to Western Australia.
With a Mediterranean climate and pristine beaches, you’ll want to take a dip in the ocean, surf at famous breaks, or swim in the sheltered waters of Bunker Bay. Explore Yallingup Wine Country
Yallingup is a coastal town 266 kilometres south of Perth, known for its beaches, limestone caves, and proximity to Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park. Spend the day exploring this stunning area, home to more art galleries than anywhere else in the region.

Margaret River Luxury 4WD Discovery Tour

Start the day with a peaceful canoe trip on the Margaret River, followed by a coffee at one of the region’s best surf breaks. Explore an ancient waterhole to spot freshwater Marron, then enjoy lunch in the barrel room at a celebrated winery, tasting local wines paired with fresh produce. The day concludes with a 4WD adventure and a scenic walk along the Cape to Cape Track, offering breathtaking clifftop views.
