Overview

New South Wales is renowned for its stunning hinterland and world-class wine country. Enjoy al fresco dining as you’re surrounded by the breathtaking scenery and trails of the Blue Mountains. Relax with a glass of Hunter Valley Semillon while kangaroos wander through the vineyards.

With minimal driving, this 7-day Sydney & Surrounds Self-Drive Itinerary offers the perfect getaway. We were captivated by the experience of sipping Hunter Valley Semillon while watching kangaroos in the vineyard. The Orient Cave Tour in the Jenolan Caves system is truly extraordinary – a must-do! And, of course, Sydney – one of the world’s greatest cities – completes the adventure perfectly. (FL)

Prepare to be amazed by rugged sandstone cliffs, hidden canyons, towering waterfalls, and endless eucalyptus forests. A UNESCO World Heritage site, the Blue Mountains is a paradise for nature lovers.

With 140 kilometres (87 miles) of walking tracks, surrounded by native bushland and the region’s signature blue haze, you’ll be in awe of the scenery.
